The DOW add 34 points as it continues to build out its consolidation below the big number of 13000. The S&P and NASDAQ both traded lower during the day but ended flat. The FTSE, writes Greg Secker, fell back 50 points and the FTSE 250 fell 107 points both closing near the 20 ema. Futures – The DOW is called down 5 points, FTSE is called down 10 points. Oil is trading at $66 a barrel and gold at $684.70
