The DOW closed the day up 108 points at 12720 as it closes in on the all time highs at the 12800 level. The S&P added 15 points as it closed at a new 5 year high at 1468. The NASDAQ added 26 points to close at 2518 just under the 5 year high at 2525. The FTSE, writes Greg Secker, 100 gapped higher at the open and closed up 53 points at another new 5 year high at 6516. The FTSE, writes Greg Secker, 250 added 90 points to close at an all time high at 12015. Futures – DOW is called down 30 points, FTSE is called down 20 points. Oil is trading at $63.60 a barrel and gold at $687.5
